ISI REGISTRATION FOR ORDINARY PORTLAND CEMENT

IS Standard : IS 269

The obligatory ISI Certification Scheme under IS standard IS 269 now contains ISI / BIS Certification for fully Ordinary Portland Cement. Ordinary Portland cement must accept the ISI Mark in order to be imported or marketed in the Indian consumer market. A product is certified as meeting the quality criteria recognised by the Bureau of Indian Standards through the ISI / BIS Certification for Ordinary Portland Cement procedure (BIS). The ISI mark is a sign of quality control. Industrialists must submit their products to the BIS for testing and inspection in order to get ISI certification.
